i have a stock 89 350 tpi, i'd like to add power to it. if i add a 52mm tb and a little bigger cam, will it be a major power diff? what size cam is stock and what is a good cam for street use but with alot of low to med torque?

i am wondering the same thing, i bought a 89 Iroc-z yesterday (saturday 7/27/02) and it has a flattened lobe on the cam. so i was wondering what are the specs for a stock cam, and what would be a good cam to swap into it, i kinda need to know so i can get this thing done before school starts 8/12/02

 

us best thing to do to gain some lost HP is buy a fuel pressure regulator and increase ur pressure to 40-45 psi, *not sure how old everythign is.. but new plugs, wires, dist cap.. ect, thats us best cheap way to do it.

A cam will make a difference but a 52mm TB will not gain you any reasonable power.
