Can I use a LT4 knock sensor?

Can I use a LT4 knock sensor?
I know dumb question, but i figure I'd ask. Should I just dissable it?

I actually have no idea if it's the same as the piece for our cars, but chances are it's not.
As for bypassing, mine has been for a year and a half. As long as you keep your ear open for knock, no worries. Since i don't have a scan tool to tune with, have to rely on the good old fashioned method to make sure everything is OK.

it's a 3.9k ohm resistor for all SD cars
I think the MAF cars all used the 100k piece, but i'd verify before taking my word for it.
Mine's bypassed right by the ecm. I cut the KS wire and put insulated disconnects on it. Put a matching disconnect on a wire to the resistor and grounded it right to the ECM case. I need to get a scan tool on it to verify the ECM is a 'clean' ground though, used to use teh chassis but the extra wire from the ECM was always inthe way when swapping chips.
