Ihave an 87 IROC with SLP runners, TPIS lower intake, 1.6:1 roller rockers, Edelbrock Center bolt heads, Edelbrock Headers.
TPIS ZZ-9 cam, 24# injectors, and an ADS chip.

Will buying a custom chip make it run that much better ?

TPIS sells the chips for $575. I want to know will it run better

They told me it will idle better, and run better.

They must be on crack....look at the tech articles on this page and surf the DIY_PROM board. You will be so much happier with the results.

 

You could purchase everything you need to burn your own chips for a lot less than a TPIS chip... Go to the DIY-Prom board and read the first post. It will answer a lot of questions.
