gas mileage and stealth ram
is it possible that im getting better gas mileage with my stealth ram than i would have with my LTR setup? i mean i guess anything is possible, but is the idea feasible. it seems to me like i hardly used any gas over the lasat 4 days, and before i was filling up about every 4 days. And ihave done about the same amount of driving as usual. i dunno, just a thought

Well, why don't you calculate it out and see? Who cares if the idea is feasible or not, are you really? Or is it just your imagination? And let the rest of us know what you find out.

I would think that someone wouldn't buy a Stealth Ram for mileage...but instead for performance.
Tuning really would be the key for better performance and mileage.

Its possible. The car might be running a little leaner than it was before now that you have an entirely different manifold on there, and that would affect the fuel mileage. Maybe it has more power at cruise as well, that would help too.
I've seen increases before with things like a bigger cam or better heads. Take it and be happy I say.

Sorry, I thought you were looking for MORE mileage per gallon than what you were getting...
Madmax is right...you probably are running a bit leaner and that is impacting things.
My bet would be that you could IMPROVE the Power/mileage more with some tuning...even on a mostly stock engine.
Instead of posting that you drive another day or so on a tank of gas...simply calculate your gas mileage and post the results. I would be curious to see the improvments.
