Fuel Pressure at 34psi

Just put on a Accel Fuel Pressure Gauge, and it shows 34psi. I was just wondering if that was normal. Also i pulled the vacuum line, and the pressure went up to 44psi.

You always pull the vac line when checking the fuel pressure. Min rec factory setting is 42. On built engine fuel pressure should be raised 2 points at a time while fine tuning. I run my fuel pressure at 48psi. I have a lot of mods. Hope this helps.
