88 1 Ton GMC TPI swap
88 1 Ton GMC TPI swap
I built a 355 with bowtie heads for my pickup, anyway i need to the rest of the info for getting it running, i got a walbro 255 pump for it, i need bigger fuel lines im assuming?.. Now to the confusing stuff, i got a TPI setup that is off a GTA according to the owner, it has the older style lower intake which makes me believe that its off a pre 87 motor? meaing the inner 2 bolts are angled like the rest, is this a MAF setup or SD? i have a harness and computer coming to me but i dont know if it will work, should i send my stock TBI harness out to get changed to a TPI setup? which would i rather be running SD or MAF?, compression is around 10:1 and im running a crane compucam in it with unported bowtie heads, if anyone see's any issues with this build feel free to insult me, sorry for the mini novel
thanks in advance for any idea

If your bolt holes are the pre 87 style then theres reason to believe it came off of a MAF car, however that doesn't make any difference to what harness/ecm you *need* to us. The more desireable system of the two is speed density. If you haven't already paid for your cam I'd just like to state that I recommend against compucams, good luck. Thread
