i'm building a 500hp 383 using the same block...... i magnafluxed and beadblasted mine and it was perfect....... i've never heard of a l98 block failure do to high hp....

YEP!!!
it's cast iron...... even that it's two bolt i still have never heard of them failing yet..... not even 1
