Code 43 at the track
I did 4 runs yesterday, mostly in the high 14's with a 14.7 @ 92.8mph as my best. After each run the SES light came on and turns out its the electronic spark control. I rarely get this on the street even when racing a bit, but it does happen sometimes when I push my car really hard.
I'm pretty sure there is not a loose connection otherwise it would happen at different occasions other than WOT. Could my timing be the culprit? I'm not sure if it is set propely. I'm always running 92 octane. I also notice the car sounds not as smooth when the tank is less than 1/4 full, could it be a fuel delivery problem? Thanks for any insight guys. I want to go to the track again next week, but I want to fix this problem first.

Code 43 is the knock sensor, check your timing and try backing it off a couple degrees and see if it still does it. If so I'd check the wiring and go ahead and replace the sensor too. My old 86 had that problem, was a bad knock sensor.
