tpi porting
I have a few questions well the first is has any one been able to cut the entire wall out of the slp runners? and how did you get a bit all the way in there with out ripping a hole in the runners? right now mine are done but, have a wall in the center still. the second is has any one gotten real brave and connected the slp runners so you bassically have one huge upper manifold?
Attempting to port out or siamese SLP runners sounds like a very troublesome project that may have disasterous results. Being that your car is an '88, you are probably utilizing the MAF system. If this is true, the SLP runners are definitely not a point of weakness in your induction system. The lower TPI manifold and MAF sensor are the two most restrictive things. Connecting all the runners together (if it were possible), would probably also be a bad thing because it would kill intake air velocity... unless you have a very deep breathing 800HP big block sitting beneath them, I wouldn't even think of it.

I don't think 800 hp is in the future but, my 406 will be this winter.
