"TPI Swappers Guide" book...any good?

hey guys, i saw this book a while back in Summit Racing's catalog ( i think ) it was titled TPI swappers handbook or something like that. Have any of you read it? and if so was it worth the $$$? I'm getting ready to do a swap and am looking for all the help i can possibly get. Thanx.

If it's the one by John Baechtel, it's recommended reading. The other one is "Corvette Fuel Injection" which covers TPI, LT1, and LS1 fuel delivery systems in good detail.

If you already know the basics of TPI the book isnt really worth it IMO. You can get better info off this site. It just basiclly goes over the difference between SD and MAF, CSI, trouble codes, real basic wiring stuff, etc. If you have no idea about fuel injection, its great, but your time would be better spent searching these boards. Also, its at least 5 years old, and some of the product info it gives is a little out-dated. Go by a Barnes & Noble, I have seen the book there, you can check it out for yourself.

Charles O. Probst and it's $25 at Amazon. Between this and the Swappers Guide, I'd go with this one...it covers LS1 in good detail also and we'll all be swapping to that one day.
