Ram Air Problems

I'm trying to make the homemade ram air. The bottom of the air box has been cut out already and there is a hole in the plastic to get belowI'm trying to run some hose from the black piece behind the foglights up to the air box where the filters sit.

The problem is the biggest diameter hose I can find is 6" and it seems like 8" is necessay. Am I missing something? Also how do you secure the hose to the foglight tube and the underside of the airbox?

Yes I've read the tech article too, but can't seem to get it.

Dont use hose, go get some alluminum dryer duct that you would run out of your house, it has a plastic end on it too, get two of those cut them down to size to fit behind where your for lights are then get some elbob bend to route it to the plastic piece, on the plastic piece use a board for the base and cut a hole in it to the diameter of the pipe.At least this is how I idd mine and it works great

i actually used a 4" dryer ducting in my car, i used zip ties to attach one end to the black piece behind the fog light, i know it doesn't take in all the air thats coming in there but i also took out my radiator shroud ( i think thats what it was) that was underneath the airbox so i was afraid of any overheating that i might have but so far haven't had a problem
