Off-idle stumble

What causes an off idle stumble? When I rev the car, it's like there's a delay in the RPM raising. Also at about 3000 RPM it tends to miss out a bit. Any suggestions? I replaced my coil and wires two weeks ago.

Fuel pressure, small vacuum leaks, bad ignition module, fouled plugs, bad gas, etc, etc...

Sorry about the sig guys, I always forget to uncheck that box. As for the fuel pressure the regulator is set for 50 psi, I was told that I would know when the module is going out simply because the car wouldn't run period. Is this true? And to add to my woes, I forgot to mention that the car is not starting as easily. It's taking some cranking before it fires. I just replaced my fuel filter about fifteen minutes ago and took the car for a test drive. No help there. It's probably worse today than yesterday and any day before. It wants to die off idle when I give it gas, and then it catches when I let off the gas, etc. Anyone have a definite answer?

Cracked cap will make it difficult to start, especially on wet days.

1. What should be the volts on tps?

2. Thats how my problems all started man. It ended up that the distrubuter was shot. Something else was wrong too though, because the car is still dead. Good luck on finding the problem.

my car had the same symptoms man, right above idle it would chug for a second or two and have trouble revving, then the power would kick back in as i hit the throttle, usually this only happened when it was starting cold. I replaced the TPS sensor (like 25-30 bucks from the local autoparts store) and it fixed the problem.
