You should be able to see 13s with that setup, as long as you can get good traction. What kind of tires are those? I would invest in some slicks or drag radials....you'll notice a huge increase in traction from those alone. As for the prom burning, get it done anyways. I'm starting to program my own proms right now, and it isn't all that difficult. Good luck, hope this helps.

Traction is the word. It would be well advised to invest in some rear control arms, shocks (if old), poly torque arm mount, and tires, like CamaroX said, are very crucial also.

CamaroX84 what kind of program u using to read those bins? I'm having a hard time finding ones that work for me. Ive used BMCS Engine Tuner, and Cat-Turner, and no luck. If u have some ideas or what not, or u need more info, please tell.

If you dont have alot of cash you should give porting a try and add a cam. Then I would go with the chip burning and whatever traction mods you need. That would get you well into the 13s nicely, if what you have doesnt.

I would hope so. Shouldn't be a problem unless it doesn't run right or you can't hook, that converter will make it a chore.
If I had headers and a small converter I'd be well into the 13s on my 92, so you should be there with what you have there.

im glad ive gotten replies. thanks again. future plans include the Lt1 intake from j millican. I want to have a setup that will allow me to build a great finished product, but not be waiting on anything. (if that makes any sense) Next mods in order i think will be LT1 intake, cam and heads. (will probably be a while). While i want a great finished car (are they ever finished?), i want a cam that can wait for the heads and not be unstreetable. And should i go with something like AFR 190s or port the snot out of the AL heads? what will be more cost prohibitive and waht will provide the best gains?
thanks for taking the time to read.
