Oil cooler?????
can someone tell me if all 350 TPI (mine is a 89 GTA) had oil coolers or not. i see the fitting for it just above the filter but there is no hoses or rad. was it an option or was mine just removed at one time?

if the engine oil is cooled it will leave less heat for the engine cooling system to have to dissipate thereby cooling your car better.
correct?
i think.
im not sure.

Since the factory setups used antifreeze to cool the oil, it really doesn't matter either way. Is it a cooler, a warmer, or both? Jeez, who knows..
An aftermarket, or Caprice style setup that is an actual . COOLER will work better.

I know saying it made my car run hotter with it on is kinda strange since it is a cooler. But the way they are from the factory aren't really good to begin with, and for some reason they do make your car run a little warmer. From experience, it doesn't make it run too much hotter.
