stealth ram AFPR
does anyone know of an AFPR that will work on the stealth ram, my fuel rail kit didnt have an adjustable one so now im stuck at this pressure. Also, i called holley, they had no idea what i was talking about and they also said that the FPR that i have is set at a constant pressure(43psi i think) why is there a vacuum line going into it if it constant?
thanks

You need a vacuum line on any regulator with multiport so the the pressure differential in the intake stays the same. The regulator is set to open at 43 psi. If the rail sees 43 psi and the intake vacuum is at 5 psi, then you'd really have 48 psi without the vacuum reference line.
The regulator is a "1 to 1" regulator. When the 5 psi of manifold vacuum is applied to it, it will reduce the regulated pressure to 38 psi for a correct differential pressure of 43 psi.
Clear as mud?
A supercharged engine is just the opposite, if you run 10 psi of boost it will add 10 psi to the regulator but you still will have a differential pressure of 43 psi in the intake even though the rail is at 53 psi.
The DIFFERENTIAL pressure in the intake will ALWAYS be 43 psi if you use the vacuum line.
