Hard to start in morning after installing afpr

I have set the pressure to 51psi and the car feels better than the stock 45psi that I measured.

the only problem I have is that the car is hard to start in the mornings when the engine is cool. It starts fine for the rest of the day.

What could be wrong? I don't think my spark is bad cuz I have new coil, ignition box, super conductor wires, performance cap and rotor and plugs are fairly new.

Could my timing be off. I haven't checked it for a while. I have always had to crank it twice for it to start in the mornings before the afpr.

Thanks guys

Maybe you ended up getting some dirt in the check valve causing it to leak air into the system while it sits overnight. When you turn the key on the fuel pump only runs for 2 seconds, until you crank the car, this may not be enough time to purge out all of the air. This would cause the car to crank for a while until the fuel pump has enough time to build up enough pressure to start the car.

Put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and check to see if you have pressure after you turn the key on in the morning.
