AFR heads with L98 plug????

I have a quick question.....I have a set of AFR190 heads and when I orderd them I orderd the L98 style plug. Will they still fit with a different 350 engine?
Or do they have to be with a L98??

L98 plug ? You mean spark plug ? The L98 Vette heads take FR3LS AC plugs same as the AFR 190s & 195s.

When I bought the heads I had a choice between straight, angle or L98. I got the L98 because that is what I had, but I am building a 383 and it is a different block and I am unsure if the heads were built to only be used on a L98. Or if the plug holes are angled different and they will not lign up with another block.

Any first generation sbc head will fit any first generation block. The only small catch to this one are heads that just need to be drilled for 400's steam holes. The issue with the angle plug vs l98 angle plug is header clearance. If you use SLP headers, you'll need l98 angle plugs. If you use hooker supecomp longtubes, you can use standard angle plug. Refer to my post in the archives if you want pictures of clearance. The only other issues might be if you need accessory holes in the heads, fan temp switch, and lastly domed piston clearance. Hope that answers your questions.
