Fuel Pressure Requlator install
Hey I am getting to installing my fuel pressure regulator and was wondering if anybody had any tips for the install or anything I should watch out for.
Is there anything else I can do to boost the performance since I will have it apart?
What is the best PSI you guys found worked for you.

Most AFPR's require some grinding on the plenum for clearance. I had the Crane Cams regulator and it was a pain to adjust. Now I have the Holley unit and it is much nicer. I recommend getting the current fuel pressure before doing the swap, and start there or 2psi higher.

I second that. Don't adjust it blind. You'll blow something up..
I've found 42PSI works good if your burnng proms. AFPR is a tool to compensate.. Its not the end all fuel enhancer.
You got a security bit set?

Yeah I got the bit set I am hoping the plenum is going to come off easy. I was just looking at opinions on how to do the job right from the ones who know. This is my first TPI. I am pretty good with carbs and I love the simplicity of TBI but it was time for something diff.
Thanks keep the info coming

Just disconnect the vaccume lines (including
brake), unbolt the top runner bolts, push the plenum back, pull up on the back, then pull straight out.
I have mine off a lot.. I use the SLP runners which are a little easier, but you should be ok.
Make sure you don't tear the diaphram when you put the new cap on..
