22lbs. injectors, can I use them on my 305?
I just got a set of free 22lbs. injectors from a friend of mine, I was wondering what would happen if I was to drop them in my 305, would they hurt me more than help? would I need to burn a custom prom? and what are the benefits of having bigger lbs. injectors?
look at my list of mods.

they will drop in and work fine! Ive done it several times now. the ECU reads the extra fuel from the oxygen sensor and just cuts back on the injectors pulse width after a few minutes of learning time, in fact after an hour or two and several stops and restarts to get the computer to relearn the engine ,values, it will normally run just like stock. you won,t gain or loose anything unless youve installed some other mods that increase the airflow thru the engine so the extra fuel potential the injectors can supply can be used

Yes you can run 350 22lb injectors in a 305, all you NEED to do is change the PROM.
Notice i emphasized the word NEED. The previous poster is misinformed. If you swap injectors without changing the injector constant in the bin you will run 15% rich during all open loop driving, which includes the first few minutes after start-up as well as WOT. The computer does not learn or correct anything during open loop.
Further, 15% rich is on the border of how far the ECM can correct during closed loop as well and would be a poor way to go about things. Chances are you'd end up bottoming the BLM and then you end up running rich even in closed loop.

Ditto to what ED said. you are reaching the end of the computers ability to compensate without changing the PROM to one that reflects the change in injector size.
