What do u think about this 383 stroker.

Hey

I might be getting this 383 stroker built, Im not sure yet, I still have to check out a couple more places.
K how does this sound.
Block: 4 bolt main
Heads: 624, 882 Castings
Valves: 1.94 intakes, 1.50 exhaust
Cam: Performance grind
Pistons: Coated Hyper
Rings: Moly
Bearings: Michigan "H" series (race series)
Crank: Scat 383 3.75" stroke
Manifold: Holly Stealth ram
Rockers: Roller Rockers

This engine is set up for a Carb but I want to go EFI. The cam built with this engine is a Flat Tappet cam that will be changed to a Roller Cam.

The engine puts out 345HP@5400 and 400ft/lbs@3700
It will make 300ft/lbs@2200

What do u guy think of this engine. Is it any good. I still have to check out a couple more. This one comes with a 80,000kms, 5 year warranty.

get better heads!! the valves are way to small for the air that stoker needs... the steath ram is gunna flow a lot of air more then tpi.... id get heads that flow like 220cc's or around there... 1.94/1.500 valves are good for flow on a 305... im not the guy to talk about engines, but i know that ur gunna need a lot more flow then that...

Another vote for better heads. 624/882 castings pretty much suck.

What would expect with 1.94" valves ? Another vote for better heads. Dart Iron Eagles or AFR's 195cc or so.
