Diff in coils????????

Is there a remote coil on a 86 iroc, or is it the old style with the coil in the cap.

I just got a 86 iroc with no motor and I have a 87 305 tpi to put in there. The 86 iroc was tpi orignly

If your putting in an 87 divorced coil setup, Then Does it matter ?

86 AFAIK came with in-cap HEI.
