New Car, Where Should I Start?
I've had my car for a little while now, and was wondering what free mods I can do. I've got about $300 right now, and was thinking $200 for a Hooker cat-back, and the other $100 for just little things. Its a 1991 LB9/5-Speed T/A. Also, where should I go after free mods and exhaust?
you might have dual cats.. im 100% sure.. .dont know that much about what birds had and what RPO codes u have... well, the hooker is gunna be modded to fit. u can go to home depo. and make urself a nice CAI.... just some ideas... u can also port out the plenum. i was gunna say get a TC.. but u have a 5spd...

Yes that is unfortunate in the overall grand scheme of things... but in relation to the hooker catback, and most cat backs for that matter, it is a good thing.
Many of the popular catback exhaust systems for these cars are only made to fit a single cat car... hooker being one of them.
