With the accel superram base can you use slp or edelbrock runners or it has to be the accel ones?? i know that the stock ones work. Also do u have mess w/the computer after installing one of these bases along w/porting, polishing and 3 angle value job w/the heads???I don't see why you would but just wanna make sure b4 I mess something up.

 

any runners will bolt up to any base....you dont have to burn a prom..but im sure if u do itll run better..

 

Yeah just about any aftermarket runners will work with the base. As for a prom, you don't need one, but it's highly recommended.

 

The stock prom will only go so far. You will reach a point when the
car either will be hard to start or will run worse after you add
something to it. That is when you will need to burn a prom.
Don't buy a custom prom either. Your car will need to be in the
hands of the person burning the prom to get the job done right.

 

Ok so my next question would be...anyone from NY possible on the Island know or actually burn custom proms. I know it's pretty cheap to get started into but i really don't plan on any other mods then the intake, runners,ported plenum and some rebuild heads. I don't have alotta free time between work and school to fool around w/this being that this is my only mode of transportation.Thanks guys you've been a big help as always.
