just got a 87 iroc
i just purchased a 1987 iroc with a l98 in it it runs real good the body has no rust on it and the tires and brakes are all good. i paid 1800 for the car and it has a 120,000 on it i just wanted to know if i did good or not i think that i did ok. o ya what should my first mod be

the guy that i bought the car off just did one two weeks ago
but the fluids are a big 10 4

Dangit... I paid 2700$ for my '87 LB9 305 TPI Z28... not so straight body. 161K. Runs GREAT though. Got her repainted and most of the dents taken out...
Definitely tune and changing fluids and such.

Go throgh and make sure your TPS< IAC, ect are all ajusted properly. Spend some Time Driving it around making sure everything is working right.
Then, The first **mod** I would suggest would be headers and a Cat Back.
That, and DIY PROM software.
But Make sure you have a solid platform before you start modding, because if you don't, the problems will become even harder to fix and diagnose as you stray from stock.
