Iron Lightening Heads with LT1 Intake

I've been speaking with my local engine machine shop about having my L98 heads ported. Although they said that can be done with no problem, they also recommended a set of "Iron Lightening" heads if they'll fit with my intake. I was told these heads flow better than the Dart heads and would be a better alternative to having my L98 heads ported.

A few questions:
Has anyone heard of these heads? (they are in the Summit catalog)

Should my converted LT1 intake fit on these heads? The problem I was told was that some intake manifolds (early cast iron intakes) have not fully covered the intake ports on the heads.

Do you guys see any reason why this is not a good idea?

As far as the iron lightning heads go, I would say go for it IF the intake fits (I would think that it SHOULD, but I really don't know). A lot of guys over at www.chevytalk.com are using them now, and flow wise they are really close to AFR's for a whole lot less $$$.
