TBI to TPI question

I found a 91 L98 from a vette that I want to swap into my 89 RS with the 305 TBI. I was wondering if I would need to get a new fuel pump. Also, are the fuel lines the same? Anything I should really worry about when doing the swap? (I'm very mechanically inclined, as I am sure most of you are, I just dont know enough about chevy's to go in on just my knowledge and experience.)

-edit-Sorry, wrong forum, can a mod please move this to the swap forum?

the fuel lines are going to be the same.if it were any older it may have a problem but yours is an 89.yes the fuel pump will need to be changed to a tpi fuel pump.the tbi pump just wont push enough pressure to feed the tpi.
do a search for my screen name you should find a lot of info regaurding your swap.also do a search for the screen name tmoney(my former screen name).there is a thread on plenums, what and why and which year plenum you'll need.
if you have any other questiond i'll try and help ya out.

What I mean, is are the ones in the engine bay the same. I highly doubt it. But I am not a Gm expert, thats why I am asking.

are you taking about the rubber fuel lines to the fuel rail?then no they are not the same.the hard lines coming off of the fuel rail on the vettes come almost straight out towards the front of the car.where as the f-body fuel rail hard lines make a bend towards the driver side of the car.
