I did some searching on the board and found some good things and some bad things about sportsman II's. Is anyone running these heads with the Superram? And if so, how do you like it? What cam did you use? Did you see a loss in torque, down low? And i'd appreciate just about any info you could give me on these heads, and on the setup that you're running.

Someone out there has to be running a similar setup. Or can at lesat give me an idea as to what to expect from this. I also need help choosing a camshaft.

 

The Sportsmans are okay, but are better flowing heads out there. Don't expect much from the valve springs World uses, they are crap, especially with an agressive HR cam. I had a set of Torquers with a Super Ram intake, the car ran 13.2 @ 103.

 

Rick, I currently have the Torquers. My friend is offering me a striaght up traid for his Sportsmans. I've been told in previous posts that my heads are the weak link in my setup. So i'm hoping that this should at least be better than the torquers. I will be raising my compression to 10:1 to help with that.
