Help!!! No speedo!!
I have 1992 Z28 with a 305 tpi in it. i replaced the tranny mount today and when i drove ti after the speedometer is not moving at all..in the past it has acted up before like not working for 5 min or so. if u know what could be wrong please help...

Step 1. Go fora drive down the highway for 10-15 minutes. Did you get a check engine light?
If yes, then your ECM isn't getting a VSS signal. That means you either knocked the wire off the VSS while you were doing the tranny mount, or otherwise messed up the wire/connector, or the VSS itself just decided to go bad.
If no, then it seems the ECM isnt aware that you don't have a VSS so the problem would be between the ECM and the speedo.
Most likely the former. The VSS is on the tailshaft of the tranny, right where you were mucking around when you did the tranny mount. You probbaly just knocked the wire off, but if you were really working like a maniac maybe you smashed it with a wrench or something. The VSS is the little bugger on the tailshaft witha 2 wire connector going into it on the driver's side. Has 1 10 or 13mm bolt holding a hold down collar/clamp that holds it in the tranny, then it just pops out.
