why doesnt my fuel pump turn off...

for some reason my fuel pump continues to run even after the car is turned off, the relay is unplugged, and the computer is disconnected. the only way i can get it to stop is to get up under the car and disconnect the wires running into the pump. anyone have an idea?

There is a fuel pump relay bypass that will
power the pump if it senses oil pressure.

It may be bad. It can be located on the
back top of the motor (end rail) or over the
oil filter housing..
