See the "sticky" at the top of this forum..

Also check out the PROM board, and the
plethora of tech articles...

stop listening to talk, and just do a little
reading... 8-)

Read before writing. Listen before asking.

Simple enough?

Well, you will find that a lot of the guys with some decent info on this board will "require" that you read first before posting. It is how it is and it has been like that ever since i got here, even before i started to post. So, just do a search next time. Thats all. I am sure if you punched in "chip" you will find more info than you would know what to do with! About the aftermarket chips to buy, don't even bother with Hyperjunk or Jet, they are junk. People have tested them on here and there is not that much of a difference between those chips and the one siting in your car! If you would like to buy a chip, go to www.fastchip.com, they are pretty reputable and they will work with you! I wouldn't invest in one unless you have some decent mods. Sounds like your car is stock. If thats the case, just do a bit of reading on here and you can get into prom burning yourself. I believe there was a guy on here with a stock 305 tpi who got his stock car into the 14s with just tuning his own proms/chip. Hope this helps! Oh, and being a di ck back will not only give you a "bad name" in some people's eyes, it will also cause those two people to not help you out again! Seriously, let people be whatever they want to be, just let it go. Finding help is a pain when you do not get the answer you are looking for but what you did is not going to make it any better IMO. You will find out shortly that there are many different personalities on here, so just live with it and ignore the *** holes! good luck
