Lt1 head swap

Will Lt1 heads work a 87 305 block? Are modifications like cooling passages needed? I already have an Lt1 Intake manifold.

Lingenfelter modified a set of LT1 heads so they would work. In the end he said that the amount of effort required to allow them to fit isn't worth it.

Probably too much work for Lingenfelter because he would have to do alot of work and charge alot for it to make profit. It wouldnt have been profitable for his company to do it but it might be worth it if you can get the mods done cheaply.
