Idle problem sometimes

Car: 2004 Nissan 350Z
Engine: 3.5 V6
Transmission: 5 speed auto
Idle problem sometimes
it doesn't do it constantly,but i come to a stop light and it idles at 1000rpms then i tap the gas just a little and it goes back to the normal 500rpms and stays there.What is causing this to happen?Thanks

There are a few things to check that effect Idle quality.
The Idle Air Motor, on the bottom if the TB. That could be dirty, of no good, try cleaning it with come carb cleaner 1st.
TPS sensor on the Pass. side of the TB above the IAC, could need adjusted or replaced.
Vacuum leak, a tube could be off, bad gasket
Worst case scenario, ECM at which i cant help you with, I havent dug into that part of the car yet.
