ok when i cruise on the freeway at 70 or so the SES light comes on...i got the code..its the 32 for the EGR...
now today i ground down the egr "nubs" in the front of the plenum right behind the TB...i notice the car pulls a little harder but thas besides the point...when i was drivein casually at 35-40 the ses light came on...
what does this mean and has this happend to anyone else

Yeah it's happened to me along with several others. Just make sure there aren't any other codes besides '32'. Did this come on before or after you ported your plenum? It really isn't much to worry about until smog time.

well it came on when i was on the freeway...so i disconnected the battery and after i did my plenum it tripped the code again but during city driving
Your two main suspects are the EGR solenoid and the EGR temperature diagnostic switch/sensor. Make sure the solenoid is connected and operating, and make sure the temperature switch closes when the temperature hits over 350°
