saving up for the HSR, how long is the waiting list for it
I am saving $2,000 for the HSR, heads and a cam for a early spring project. has anyone ordered a HSR recently? what is the turn around time for one. Im asking because I may have to order it now if the wait is long? also, for the ones that have it installed already, what heads and cam are you guys running? I am un decided on those parts right now. I was thinking of AFR 195's and then calling comp cams up for their info on a cam for me? are their any websites that cover the installation of on on a thirdgen

I just installed mine a month ago, got it from thunder racing with no wait time. I run AFR 190s and a comp xtreme roller cam. Pulls like a mother

Thanks. Do any of you guys have any regrets on getting the HSR? Does it perform like you expected it too. How is the torque pull on it in city driving from 2000-4500RPM's? what size and brand TB you guys using? Any tips for the install to make it easier on me and what set backs did you have if any while installing it. I want to run a braided line from the steel line straight to the fuel rail. is that what you all have? sorry for more questions. i just want to make the right parts decisions the first time

Yeah, it pulls really hard around 3500 upto 6000. Around town is fine, I did not notice any loss of driveability. I still have the stock throttle body. I did not have any setbacks when installing it and I got the braided line to go from the stock hard lines to the fuel rail, but I was in a hurry to get it done and noone was open that would put the ends on the line for me, so i just got some fuel injection rubber line($40+) from napa to hold me over until I could get the braided line done. You just need to get the adapters that are mentioned in the post that used to be a sticky.
