Could you guys give me som feedback on my plans..

Hello

COuld you give me som feedback on this please?
Im on a tight budget,so keep that in mind. And Im from Sweden so many thins is hard to get "over here".

And its for my 1991 6spd vette.

here is the list:

LPE219 cam
LT4 springs, reatiners etc. ( im not going abow 6000rpm, so it should be enough)
accel superram bas ( ony base )
as+m runners.
ported stock plenum, to match the as+m runners.
Stock TB.
Going to cheap port the 113 heads myself, match it to the accel base.
manley vavles ( stock size )
Increase the comp using a diffrent head gasaget then stock.
heddman headers.
1,5rr, i dont think the stock heads can flow abow .500 in lift, so i stick to 1,5.
no egr
no airpump.

And to add in the future..

superram plenum and runners
hooker headers
AFR heads
1,6 rr
stronger springs
bigger vavles

Does this sound like a good "cheap" top end for now?

Is 370hp possibel with good tuning?

Thanks

devil....

That sounds like a good build to me - 370HP to the wheels without suspension/transmission mods not possible IMO.

I agree. Maybe 320-330HP at the crank at the most

thanks for the reply.

I know that a simular set-up made 322 hk at the wheels.
His car whas a 1988corvette 4+3manual.

His setup whas just like mine but with the following diffrences.

superram upper and under.
fully ported 113 heads.
2.02 vavles
1,6rrs
hooker headers.

so that should be around 380 hp at the crank.

Im happy if i can make 350hp at the crank with this setup.
I have a hard time to belive that the superram upper, 1,6rrs, bigger vavles should make 50 hp more then my setup, 30hp i can buy..or?

What suspension/transmission mods could help me? I got a 6spd manuall tranny, how should I mod that?? Im confused..

regards

Mmmm...

Subframe connectors - will improve weight transfer off the line and stiffen up the whole frame for better handling, noise etc.

Strut tower braces - In the front and back will allow you to corner like a bad word.

Both relatively cheap and both help alot to ease the inherent weaknesses of the unibody frame.

Devil nice to see you over here. I still think you'll be able to squeeze at least a good 370 (at the crank) outta her with the whole list of stuff.

370hp with long runners isnt going to happen without more cubes. maybe after the super ram upper. ignore the suspension mods listed for you if your doing this to your vette. youve got a pretty good stock setup on a vette for a good hookup. on the tranny, just make sure your clutch is in good shape and your good to go.
