Build me a motor...

I currently have an 86 Trans Am with an LB9. I want more power than 190 hp. I need you guys to put together a parts list for a 350 SBC making around 300-325hp. Im most interested in cam specs(probably would stick with a flat tappet cam to save $$$), head choices, and needed upgrades to the TPI itself. Im not looking for a tiny budget, but not top dollar either. Have at it guys.

All mild stuff adds to one fast bitch of an engine.

If you're talking upper build on a stock lower end...

1.Cold air intake to
2.throttle body (stock) with foil to
3.ported upper plenum portmatched to
4.high flow aftermarket runners to
5.high flow aftermarket base to
6.budget heads like world torquers or even ported/valve jobbed stock L98 heads that work with
7.a cam that has mild lift but long duration (not quite good at cam specs yet) but i know that the TPI's sweet spot is all low and midrange, so less lift and more duration.


I think that engine will easily make 350 horses to the crank.

Now lets see:
1. 120.00 (if youre buying one and not making one)
2. 50.00 (once again buying new)
3. 80.00 (hiring port work, not DIY)
4. 250.00 (new)
5. 400.00 (new)
6. 800.00 (give or take)
7. 150.00 (give or take)

I have reciepts posted. This is for an L-98 but close enough

to what you'll need.
