fellas, i need to know the summit part number for MSD wires for my car... 87 TPI 305... i have a number, but not totaly sure its the right one, and the tech guys are closed so i cant see if i got the right one. if someone could give me a number it would be great... i do have an external coil....thanks guys oh.. the wires are 8.5mm. and the number i have now is MSD-31839...

 

The part # I got when I called Summit was 31459 for $62.95 and I called about custom fit MSD 8.5 for an 87 305 as well... actually they came up with corvette wires cause of the TPI.....but Im sure they will fit.

Im actually going all MSD....the cap part# is 8426 for $21.39 and the rotor part# is 8427 for $6.99. I can get the coil at Auto zone...

 

Im sure you got the same setup as me.

 

well, i got in touch with the tech dept. and they said the part number i gave him will work with no problems... i hope hes right or im gunna be pissed off.... i hope i get them before i go back to college so i can put them on so they dont sit in my garage and get lost.... like so much other stuff... looks like i got some cool stuff do to on my bday this saturday.... wishmaster.. have u ever run ur car at the track? you have the same set up as me... or at least what i want to have done... i dont remember, but do u have any exhaust work done?

 

MSD 31839 is what I used on my 92 Z.
