Problem after MSD Distributor install...
I just installed a MSD Pro-Billet distributor (the one made specifically for our cars). The problem im having now is that it starts up right away when the car is cold, but when the car is hot it cranks over for a few seconds before it catches and then after it fires it throws an SES light. Unfortunitly right now I have a broken foot in a cast so its a royal PITA to go pull codes and work on the car. Anyone have any idea what may be going on?? Before the install the car never did anything like this. Also I didnt do the install (broken foot) so I dont know if anything was connected incorrectly, but i suspect not cause it works fine cold. Also I have a CSI Ultra-lite starter on the car too if that means anything. Thanks

I say check the timing at normal operating temp and go from there. if its right then check for possible loose connections. You have to be 100% sure the dist was put in the right place.
