I have an annoying coolant leak that comes and goes when it pleases and i've linked it to a coolant hose that comes from the intake manifold and goes to the tpi unit. The hose on my car looks like someone replaced it at one point and obviously didnt use the right part. There is a major crimp in the middle of it and where it connects to the tpi there is no clamp either (which is probably why it leaks). Anyways, I wonder if theres any special hose I need and what exactly I need it for. Thanks

Sounds like you're talkin about the coolant hose that routes coolant to the throttle body to prevent freezing of the plates. Some people say this is useful in cold climates but I think the heat from the engine is enough to thaw out anything under the hood. You can bypass the throttle body and just connect that hose to the hose on the other side. Could also be considered a "free mod" as this coolant may heat up the air entering the engine, which is something undesirable if we're looking for more power output.
