fuel pump ques

when I turn the car off, the pump continues to run for like 5-10 sec. I have not noticed it running this long before. Is it the pump going south or the relay or what? Any ideas?

My car has been doing the same thing for about two months now. I read in a thread in the archives that suggest it's do to a bad oil pressure switch. The switch cuts off the feul pump if the oil pressure drops below a certain amount. I replaced mine and it still does it. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I plan on replacing the feul pump in two weeks. I'll post the results if it hasn't been figured out by then.

Sticky relay. If the pump were bad it wouldn't make it run on, when you turn the key off the power holding the relay is cut and there by cuts power to the pump. But if the relay sticks it will continue to supply power to the pump.
