TPIS maf?

Everyone says that the only upgrade from the stock maf is the wells unit, but what about the one from TPIS?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Reason I ask is bcuz I'm new to the 3rd gen and don't know much about the motor right now. I have a 97 SS an sold it to my dad to get out of car pmts. One thing I see is that everyone that starts to modify their cars change to speed density bcuz of the restrictive maf. Reason I ask about the TPIS one is bcuz even though it may be a motified stocker it flows close to the same as a stock LT1 maf, if I remeber right, and not very many people change out the stock one for a GMS on the LT1 and there is no restriction there.
