LT4 Intake Part number/Casting number

Just picked up a brand new Lt4 Intake with casting number:
12550631!
Can someone support the fact that this is the Gm partnumber :
12550630???

Has someone bought the upgrade kit, sold from GM with all you need to convert from Lt1 to Lt4???

Is there any support to the rumours that Gm is discon. those parts????

Any LT4 swappers in here??

from what i understand the LT4 1255031 intake is an actual '96 LT4 vette production intake, LT4 intake with the 12550630 is the GMPP version

I have the 1255031 intake and a set of production LT4 heads on mine, which have LT-4 cast into them unlike the GMPP ones.

Did you swap from Lt1 to LT4 ?
Or did you start right with the LT4??
Did you get the stuff new and are you 1/4 times a mega diff to those lt1 owners??
Did you rework the module??

Got another picture showing the bottom side? I'd like to have a look at the ports.

Looking at the port size it is exactly like the L99 intake offered in the 4.3L V-8's of Caprices and roadmaster.

Unfortuently for you I believe you got a bad deal, not a LT4 intake. I have several of those laying around for 305 V-8 customers.

Sorry for the bad news. I hope I'm wrong.
