LS1 injector upgrade
....I have a friend who is upgrading his LS1 with a turbo and he will not be needing his injectors. Do these injectors fit into a TPI system with no mods besides injector constant in the prom??? I was just curious if injector harness plugs, fuel rail clips, ect would all work with these injectors or is it a PITA to upgrade??? Also are there any reasons not to use these injectors on a TPI setup???? Thanks

The injectors will fit however the C clips won't fit around the LS1 injectors without grinding a groove in them. Those clips don't do much anyways because the injectors will stay in there on their own without them.
I second that. All will plug in just fine. Just like what was previously said, don't worry about grinding a groove in them fo the clip. The o- rings hold them in just fine.
Gimme some details on your buddy's project. I work on nothing but LS1's at the shop I'm at and like to see what other guys are up to

The car is a 1999 T/A. I know the company he is buying the turbo from is called ls1 speed. I don't know a whole lot more about it other than its damned expensive and I think its a twin turbo setup. He says it should have a good 500 hp and still be very streeable. Who knows, I guess we will see when he gets it all back together wether or not its a good idea. IMO he has too much money.
