What is the leading cause of off idle hesitation? It happens right when you stab the throttle. And for that matter, any cause.

 

Four leading causes for an off idle stumble, I would say, are dirty/worn injectors, worn spark path (plugs, wires, distributor), vacuum leak, or a clogged or partially clogged fuel filter.

 

I would also make sure that your TPS sensor sends a smooth voltage through out its range and that there is no dead spots...

But yeah, check to make sure you are getting good fuel pressure, and your high tension leads are in good condition, as well as your plugs...
