Concensus around here is that the Stealthram, Superram, LT1, and Miniram are all too much for the 305. I would suggest doing port work on your stock plenums. Siamese the runner entrances on both the upper and lower plenum, siamese the runner ends to match, and grind down the area right behind the throttle bore as well as radiusing the bores themselves for more air. Whether you do it or you get a shop to do it I think it would allow the 305 to breathe very nice. Thing is, the stealthram would bog the 305 big time in the low end, and I don't think the better top end will make up for it whens all is said and done. Unless of course you plan to heavily modify this 305, I would stick with long tube runner intake.

If you plan to do the mods listed, I think the base, runners and ported plenum would go nicely. Might tradeoff some torque.

I don't think the Edelbrock will trade off any noticeable amount of torque, and would be a really nice intake for the 305. I myself am getting one, I have the 350. I plan to keep it when the I stroke up to 383 cubes, but before it sits on top of a 383 I plan to pig the hell out of it to make it as good as it can be. Go for that, I think it'll compliment the cam you're putting in. Concentrate you're choice of heads around the 1500-5500 rpm range and you'll have a rather quick 305 TPI w/ decent breathing in the top end.
If you think you want to go with the edelbrock, you might look into siameseing the baseplate and runners for some more top end, in exchange for a smidge of low end torque.
