Stand Alone Fuel Managment Systems
Who makes the best ones and how much do they cost? Do they work well on TPI based engines? What kind of gains can you see just by installing the system by it's self and tuning it correctly? Do they come with injectors? what do they come with?
Sorry for the the Q's but I know they are a couple grand but I've heard they are worth it. I am thinking about one for my Firehawk or my GTA...

Car: 2008.5 Mazdaspeed 3 GT
Engine: 2.3 DISI Turbo
Transmission: 6 speed MT
:hail: = Haltech
= SDS Ignition systems
Those are two that I have had experience in helping tune. Both work good as stand alones, but really only offer huge gains for those exceeding the stock systems by a huge margin. Putting one on a stock or mildly modified engine vs. custom prom tuning would offer no gains and would actually be tons harder to do because of how complicated those are to install and operate. So unless you plan a monster mouse buildup, fabricated intakes, custom super/turbo charging, it's not going to be worth it on either of your cars.
