anyone had a vortec head combo on a dyno
i have a 350 with sdpc base , modified factory runners ,
.510 220@.050 i - 230@.050 e , 1 3/4 slp headers w/ cutout
stock cat back exhaust . been 102 mph 1/4 before i got
my tuning right ( speed density car ) .. just wondering
what other people have got , i am going on a mustang dyno
2-26-03 and looking for a goal ..

I don't have Vortec heads but I do have TPI and I did run almost identical times. I ran 13.5 @ 103.7 and I put down 271.3 RWHP and 349.6 RWTQ
was this on a dynojet or a mustang chassis dyno ?
those are good numbers and gives me hope i might be able
to get my 300 rwhp i want .. when i ran my car at he track
i had 9-16 degrees of knock retard due to the exhaust
htting the crossmember . now i have no knock and i have
leaned it out and it feels (whatever that's worth) like i
have a lot more power ..
any chance of posting your graph ?
