Roller Rockers 1.6
Roller Rockers 1.6
To make a long story short I won't be swapping cam or heads in the near future. I am throwing around the idea of swapping on some good 1.6 roller rockers since I am planning on replacing valve springs anyway.
I have heard conflicting stories about the 1.5 or 1.6 debate. Yes I know the drip tabs inside the valve covers will need to be worked over. The other thing that has been said is that pushrods will bind if you use the 1.6's, although many have said it is not a problem. I will using the stock cam and heads and already have an Accel lower and AS&M runners on it.
Do the 88's with iron heads come with self aligning rockers from the factory?
Let's here the stories (true ones only please)

The pushrods will bind if A. your running alot of lift. B. Either the heads or block have been surfaced. If neither of those apply you can bolt on and go, also be wary of the lift increase with stock springs in case of coil bind. Other than that your in the clear.
Yes 88's come with self aligning rockers.
Just read the rest of your post so I guess lift doesnt apply to you
