Please Help Me With A Code 33

I Have a 1986 Camaro Z28 TPI 5.0

I have pulled a code 33 from the computer..

The following are new:

Had The Motor Rebuilt
IAC
TPS
MAF(This Has A Circuit Board In It Instead Of The Wire???)
HyperTech Ignition System(Coil,Dist.)
K&N Filter
Flowmaster Exhaust
Intake Gaskets
Fuel Injector O-Rings
Crane Cam(Guy Before Me Installed It--Don't Know Which One It Is)
Superchip(When Someone Else Reported A Code 33 Everyone asked if they had an aftermarket chip why? does it affect maf reading?)

Symtoms:

The car is hard to start when cold

My uncle said there was a backfire through one of the injectors..??
Don't know what this means but doesnt sound good.

If you turn the distributor one way the idle is good and when you rev it sounds like theres not much power..but if your turn it a little the other way the idle is bad and it sounds like it has power.

When driving you have to hold the gas and brake at the same time or else it will die.

the motor is rebuilt and doesnt smoke or knock.

i know this isnt much to go on but could the problem be the maf relay?

i was also wondering since this new Wells MAF has a circuit in it instead of a wire that the burn-off relay would serve no purpose.

I think its the MAF Relay. Please Submit Any Comments, Ideas Or Suggestions.

Thanks In Advance
Brandon

I suspect the maf relay is bad so im replacing that once this damn snow goes away.

33 is the maf, a lot of things to do to troubleshoot it
-if u ask me, id investigate this, chip instead of wire, never heard of that but that doesnt really mean anything, all the maf does is heat up a wire and as air cools it, the computer reads the difference in resistance to tell how much air is coming in...
36 is the burn off relay i believe so if u have no 36 then...i dunno
good luck
-one time my burn off relay went and my maf got a fcked up and i had to replace both and never got any codes so...
