Cam needed.

1992z L98 700r4. Borla cat-back, Hypercrap chip. Looking at the vortec setup, manifold, heads from scoggin dickey. Saw the comment on the ZZ4 cam being a touch small. Car is a daily driver and needs to pass the sniffer. Thanks guys.

The LT4 hot cam will have trouble passing the smog test. That is why I did't recommend it. Not saying it can't be done though

If you look at the TPIS ZZ9 cam it is nothing more than a revised GM ZZ4 cam..IMHO, and it is emissions legal. It also costs about a hundred dollars more. You combo looks mostly stock(even if you go with the vortec setup) so I don't think the ZZ4 cam is a bit small for a daily driver. I think you will be very happy with the torque the motor will put out. That is what you will notice on the street. The horse power will be good as well but, that isn't what your car is setup for.
